OFF MENU is Tatler's dining experience "for those who crave the unexpected". An outdoor food festival with top tier chefs.

In 2019 Pyjama was the lead contractor for our friends from T Dining/Tatler for their new food festival concept.

We undertook all licensing, production, marquees, power distribution, building a mini kitchen for each chef, staff, cleaning, on-site operations & audio visual with a band... on a roof... on The Peak.

Perhaps the most difficult venue we have ever worked at, anything of any size including two large generators had to be craned onto the roof of the shopping centre (quietly!) in the middle of the night in freezing cold and windy conditions. 

All the while we looked down from the Peak at our beloved city literally on fire during the 2019 protests wondering if the event could ever possibly go ahead.

It was the largest project we had ever undertaken to date, but despite the considerable logistical hurdles it was an incredibly successful weekend with happy chefs, guests and exceptional food.

We didn't know at the time, but it was the last major event for the next few years.
