On 1st September 2025, pyjama acquired the long-established company, ‘Event Canopies Hong Kong,’ a key provider of Tensile Stretch Canopies for numerous events. This acquisition significantly broadened our range and inventory of structures available for festivals.

We were immediately put to the test with a massive project that served as the perfect debut for our new stretch tents. This single event nearly emptied both our entire new tent inventory and our additional warehouse space.

The project was the Disneyland 10K Weekend - 20th Anniversary Party Edition at Hong Kong Disneyland, marking our first major production with the Disney entertainment department. The week-long build presented extreme challenges: starting with scorching heat, then contending with a Typhoon 3 signal, bringing super high winds and driving rain to the exposed site. However, the weather finally cooperated, delivering a perfect autumn weekend for the event itself.

This was a tremendous effort, and we are incredibly proud of the outcome. The success continued, as we were back at Disneyland for another large and successful event just ten days later!
