The AIA Carnival is a staple of the Hong Kong winter calendar, operating from December through the Lunar New Year. For the Pyjama crew, this massive project always marks the final chapter of our peak season, the ultimate year-end push after months of non-stop events.

Historically, we’ve supplied the festival's classic pagoda tents. However, for the 2025 edition, we stepped things up by deploying our newly acquired event canopies: stunning, heavy-duty stretch tents. We installed these over the central dining area, ensuring visitors could stay dry, comfortable, and festive even when the winter weather turned rainy. Alongside the main dining structures, we also managed essential food licensing for the various vendors, provided the structural tents, and set up A-frame tents for the staff canteen and restroom areas.

The Challenge
This project represents our longest rental period of the year. Our "babies", the premium tent inventory, are out in the elements at the Central Harbourfront for months on end. Because this residency kicks off right on the heels of Clockenflap, our logistics and maintenance teams have to work overtime. Before any canvas or structure leaves our warehouse, it undergoes a meticulous double-check and deep clean to ensure everything remains pristine and durable for the long haul.

Seeing our setups stand tall as the backdrop to one of HK's biggest winter landmarks is the perfect way to wrap up a busy year.
